The Lone Ortho

Marooned on a secular college campus, I created this blog for the dual purpose of venting and sharing my experiences, pleasant and otherwise. Join me as I traverse the treacherous terrains of galus; it's been a harrowing, yet worthwhile journey thus far. Feel free to partake in the smattering of snide remarks, random Paul Simon references, and utterly ridiculous CS jokes.

Model of Efficiency

I hear you laughing, Eli7, and rightfully so perhaps. FYI, I finished packing. Sweet.

Do you doubt that I'm right? I'm always right - ask ZZ why. ;)And what time did you finish packing? Finishing at 2:15 a.m. does not constitute "sweet." Though I s'pose it's better than 8:15 in the morning before a noon flight which is when i finished packing when I left Israel... Or about half an hour after my father came to take me home from my dorm. Oops. Don't tell.

    Eli7 –
Must I remind you that earlier this year we established that the metzius is that I’m always right? In the past, ZZ may have been correct. But the times, they are a-changin’.. Now considering the fact that I didn’t start packing till G-d knows what time, finishing at 2 am is quite impressive. Granted, It’s a lot easier to pack when you don’t own 50 jean skirts… ;-)

Hey! don't dis the denim skirts! and for someone who just bought not one but two pairs of stiletto heels, well it seems to me that i'm making a comeback!

Even with the additional pairs of shoes, I easily packed up my entire closet in the time it would take you to pack up your jean skirts alone…Let’s not start in on the rest of your wardrobe ;-)

Being that i was insulted by someone else this morning about my clothing as well (she was nastier), i feel the need to defend myself... but am not sure how to go about it. let's just suffice it to say that for someone who has some of the same clothing as me (two skirts and a pair of shoes come to mind, at the very least) it's pretty low to insult the wardrobe. just because i have more clothing than you do... AND you didn't have to pack your whole wardrobe anyway. and denim skirts are really easy to pack.

I never poked fun at the quality of your clothing, just the quantity. Now, I know unmentionable insult hailed at you this morning ( why repeat such blasphemy in a public forum?). In comparison, I look like a saint. Besides, It’s an unwritten law that you have to deride the girl who buys cutest clothes at GAP Kids!!!

Honey, you ain't no saint. but in comparison... Anyhow, i'm glad you approve of the quality of the clothing, which leads me to the point: you can never have enough good clothing, especially cute stuff from Gap kids. Plus, it means you have to do laundry less frequently, which is a big plus when you go to a co-ed school and doing laundry means sorting your underwear in front of guys and possibly taking guys' underwear out of the machine so you can put yours in. Ewwww. Ahh what i would do for the Michlala laundry rooms, where at least you knew that only memebrs of the same sex would view your undergarments.

Careful, Eli7, this is a family site. I’m trying to maintain a PG ratng here…(Was my sarcasm evident? It’s so hard to judge my own words…)

living on a college campus is NOT rated PG, not even close.
